Kring Point State Park is located on a narrow peninsula that juts out between Goose Bay and the St. Lawrence River, providing visitors with amazing water views all around. The area also offers abundant opportunity for recreation including boating, fishing, swimming, and camping. The campground is comprised of 100 campsites, many of which are waterfront, and almost within view of the water. The tent and trailer sites are equipped with picnic tables, fire pits, and electric hookups at select sites. The other amenities include flush toilets, showers, dump station, and boat launch. The sites vary in price but range between $18-$24 per night depending on proximity to water and electric hookup included. There are also rental cabins available which can accommodate 4-6 people depending on size and include beds, electricity, fridge, and table and chairs. There are also bigger cabins that include a stove/oven, toilet, and shower. The cost per night for cabins ranges between $52.50-$101.50 per night depending on site selected. Pets are allowed in only some of the cabins. Reservations for campsites and cabins are available but must be made a day before arrival.
